Banana bread
Here’s my banana bread recipe for a delicious breakfast or snack, at home or on the go, for the whole family!
What you’ll need:
8 tbsp butter. You can also substitute the butter for any number of healthier oils or even applesauce or mashed avocado to make this a guilt free bread! Just be sure to google how much you’ll need to substitute.
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3 mashed bananas
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
Process:
Cream together the butter and sugar
Stir in the beaten eggs and mashed bananas
Mix in the salt, baking soda and flour
You can also add flaxseed for added fiber (I usually do this to counteract the banana which can be binding), or walnuts for extra crunch and healthy fats.
Pour into a nonstick bread pan or lightly grease your bread pan for easy removal. Bake in the oven at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Make sure it’s cooked through.
